Urban route between history and memory
We suggest that you follow the route which leads from the Nantes history museum to the Memorial to the abolition of slavery. The Memorial is a site for remembrance, whilst the museum will provide you with the information you need to understand the city’s slave trading history, which is covered in depth in the permanent collection.
These two sites are symbolically linked by an urban route punctuated by 11 information panels (About 1 hour on foot.).
