All year long, Nantes\u2019 associations organize activities to raise awareness of the slave trade, slavery, its abolition, and its history. They coordinate events and itineraries at locations throughout the city. Their active participation in France\u2019s \u201cNational Day of Remembrance of the Slave Trade and its Abolition\u201d on May 10th is proof of their commitment to human rights and freedoms.<\/p>\n
